Back in Ukraine. Winter holidays.

Being accustomed to do everything by myself I was astonished being helped by a Ukrainian guy to place my Huge luggage on the customs' machine. There it was, Ukraine. The first thing I needed was ..no, not salo..coffee! Still feeling drowsy after any flight so a cup of good coffee always cheers me up. After my luggage was picked up my family and I destinated to the small cafe which was adviced by our friend. And there my soul felt happy eating only ukrainian stuff: borshch with pampushki, pickles, mini pies with cherry jam, salo with garlic and black bread!

Afterwards, I felt compulsion in going at the main square where Maydan was and there I saw a well organized living system, the Ukrainian language speakers,  performers singing ukrainian songs wearing our national clothing, tents for helping English speakers. After a while I spent the New Year at this square where the crowd welcomed the New Year singing the Ukrainian anthem. It was great being a part of really patriotic activity.  Never forget when a huge crowd went downstairs in the metropolitan and continued singing the anthem. Many people of different backgrounds but were so tied up with the coherent target and mind.

In January, I could not skip a chance to stop by and to see the teachers of  my ex school. The first visit to the school was with my exclassmates and there were talks on where everybody is studying. What I liked was seeing our classteacher and school. A little bit later I lured my friend tostop by a school principal and we definitely didn't regret coming by. The principal was so happy seeing and hearing how we were doing. Definitely, I am lucky with most of my school teachers whom I like visiting and talking to after my graduation. After a while, I stopped by the school again and that time I spent 3-4 hours chatting to my teachers and drinking coffee. Felt so happy seeing some of them but more happy were them seeing me. Totally the best memories left after visiting.

All in all, I had only 2 weeks to spend in Ukraine so the rest of my holidays I was at home eating and accumulating the energy for the hardest  and sleepless course coming soon.

4 months in AUBG\Meeting the Bulgarian President

Despite studying in ELI  many unbelievable things occured during my surviving.

First of all, I was lucky but surprised to meet the actual President of Bulgaria. Accidentally did  I meet him. I was surprised by the fact that no huge-preparations were done. Nobody was obliged to wear uniform or follow only a particular path. The day seemed completely the same as the any other day. I did not even know the President was coming although there were some ads but I didn't pay any attention on them. Rosen Plevneliev gave a speech at the university, which I didn't manage to attend because I was making varenyky. In fact, I  was surprised how the atmosphere was so  relaxed and unpretentious. I faced with the President of Bulgaria on the  first floor of the campus I lived on. Basically, everything happened all of a sudden. I was giving back an iron when the  President came. Unbelievable it may seem. The President shook hand with the students, who were there at that moment. Someone said : "Guys, if you don't speak Bulgarian say "hi" in English". I did not expect to meet the President and I've been in shock for a long time since then. I'm really impressed there were no huge  preparations; nobody stopped the traffic or blocked the road ; in my country when the president even a mediocre politician  comes all roads are closed and the traffic is stopped. Surprise.

Secondly, we had a Christmas Bazzar in AUBG and we raised over 100 euro. The money will be spent on shoes and clothes for the local kids house. I'm happy being involved in charity and  volunteering. I spent the whole day selling food  albeit I had been tired couple days before but I enjoyed selling and serving.

The most interesting part of these 4 months was making  varenyky. To begin with, I had spent 3 hours cooking them and 5 mins cleaning the kitchen from dough-mess because  I was run out of time. Everybody liked varenyky. I was so happy to bring a piece of the ukrainian culture on campus!  Later, I was teaching how to make varenyky to Americans and not only to them. I must say we managed to make a huge number of varenyky for 1.5 h. Amazing! Varenyky a little bit  resemble dumplings but can be made with both sweet and salty inside.

Also, I was taught to do CPR.
These 4 months were significant with Ukrainian meetings. We  cooked  Ukrainian dishes only such as : borshch, mlynzi ( pancakes), salo with bread, crabstick salad and kiev's cotelettes. I'm happy that  Ukrainians are gathering on campus time to time. So  we spent hours  talking in Ukrainian. Also, the day before leaving we gathered again and ate salo. Although we were happy eating salo we also watched movies and on the 3rd movie we dropped off. It was so unusual but sweet to sleep in a coat sharing a bed with 3 other people. It was pointless to leave a room because most of us had to wake up at 7am.

I passed my finals successfully so Step 3 is waiting for me. These 4 months were full of changes but full of obstacles. Step 3, here I go.

Two weeks, too impressed.

The orientation week  finished with a big cake and  picnic party. I was lucky to talk and to get acquainted with the President of the  University and his Wife, who also gave me a very useful advice. It was so nice of her. Surprisingly, I didn't recognize them at the first glance but i was pleased and surprised, when  discovered I was talking toTHEM! My American scarf attracts people.

The 2nd week was good. I became a coffee-addict...literally. I will drop off if I don't drink a large espresso without sugar. My typical break-snacks are coffee and kit-kat...too American. Thanks to AUBG we have a really good coffee-machine with a nice coffee, which makes coffee not only instant but also natural. As I wrote before, we have really fun lessons, which are just more American.

I went to acquapark, where water was quite cold. I go to the gym almost every day.  Such a pleasure finally to be able to exercise. I've been pretty busy these days, homework, tests, events, food......food....and food.

Here are some specials, events and impressions of mine:

  • Floor party !! Suddenly, we had  ice-cream floor party, where we had looots of ice-cream ( of any kind) cola, juice and cookies. GOSH I was at the gym that day and ice-cream party made it special to me. Furthermore, I met a Ukrainian there.YES.So we spent 3 hours chatting. Finally found a Ukrainian soul out here.
  • A door access broke down! The whole night with the beeeping sounds. This is Skapto life
  • I attended the lecture which was about elitism-populism because I love history. I was curious about the way, the lecture was taught and given. After the lecture finished  a small-food-party occured ...again food but  nice cookies, blue cheese, which I've never tried before) and other appetizers  made it special.  I got acquainted with the Professor of History and we discussed the difference between Slavic languages and their history.  I really like Professors' attitude here because you can easily  come to any of them for an advice, asking a question or presenting an idea. They usually welcome to hear and to talk to students. There is no wall or upNdown feeling.
  • Also, I signed up for a Cooking club. On wednesday we had a meeting  hence we will prepare some food  for its club's birthday.  I couldn't decide which process  I wanted to participate in as far as  there were lots of options but my choice was cooking brownies. What's interesting that I'm in one group with a Professor. Unusual to see your teachers in my case professors being involved in the same projects along with students. Hence on Monday we'll be cooking brownies in the professors' home. The fact we'll be there is very surprising to me as a student studying and living all my life in a different society.  Moreover, as far as I'm fond of GB suddenly I'm hearing a very strong British accent. Exactly, British. Unbelievable but we have a chef from Manchester! Still can't believe it. Where is Blagoevgrad and where is Manchester, where is American University and where is England. I've never thought that  I would ever meet a true british (especially not a student) in this university.
  • We have sushi in the canteen. Isn't bad, huh?
  • We had a Ukrainian Party where we sang Ukrainiansongs finishing with the Ukrainian Anthem. I was wearing the embroidery shirt. Hearing the Ukrainian language was so nice.
  • We had a test which I passed! But I need a higher result so I will work on it.  By the way, tests are evaluated in percents ( the passing score\percent is 64).
  • Today was a nice running across the city because a shop sign stated visa electron cards are accepted there. So I wanted to buy a sim-card and already signed up to get it when it figures out they don't accept paying by cards. It was a Sunday evening banks were closed (to exchange the currency) the sale assistant spoke neither English nor Russian  so he stared  at me without a piece of understanding what I was saying. So I was trying to explain everything in BulgarianoRussian.
  • I took part in the community service because I've always dreamed about being a volunteer and helping others. Actually the territory was clean enough so in vain did we volunteer.
Also, I love doing my homework sitting on grass which doesn't appear here as smth. bad or awkward. The last time I was sitting on grass was in my hometown when suddenly someone started taking photos of my friend and me, while we were eating  ice-cream.

Anyway, living here is fun but hard. You can observe a plenty of students in lobbies studying. But it's impossible to study here because every day at the same time at least 3 events occure and almost every of them accompanied by food. America.

This is too pretty to be able to concentrate on  homework

Romania-Bridge-Bulgaria-Twins reunion-Sofia-Starbucks!

This year I was lucky, cuz. I’ve had quite good neighbors in a train-room, than last year. I’ve practiced a bit of Bulgarian , and relaxed for 2 days. I really liked a train station in Bucharest, Romania, that time we’ve had 40 min of break, so I decided to come out of train and breathe  a real Romanian air.  Well, my impression ( of what ive seen at least) of Romania, is that this is  a country of differences.  It has an awesome train station, and even double-decker trains!!! Yes, ive never seen them. BUT at  the same time you can see really old, broken seats, walls, old buildings. A really nice mix. People are really different you can see poor people, local citizens, and really European style people the same time. Also, there was a strange runner at 12am on a bridge

AND finally I came back to Bulgaria for 3rd time already!!! And I was really happy about my coming because guess what? My Bulgarian sister-twin-best friend has met me !! This is sooo sweet that I want to cry even now. Twins   have too much in common, like she came with Katelyn (cuz volunteers were allowed to bring their students) and then I became Katelyn Junior. We both have tooooo much stories to tell about, and yep we’re left-handed…so im really grateful that I met Pavlena.  But let’s stop the crying sweet story, and just move on :D

Just after I’ve arrived, I screamed “ Starbucks” OMG!!! And I did it!!! AAAAAHHH…. We went to Starbucks, I took Frappuccino-mocca-crispy with cookies and then Americano.  Ive felt American, like, you know, coffee cup in your hands, American style ahahh, nice…).  Then we hanged around a city, and oh my gosh, I tried Bulgarian subway, there is even subway there in Sofia! :D It’s nice, it’s new, I really liked the idea of historical posters ( mini-museums) in subway, but ahah, my first words were “ OMG it looks like public toilet” Well, don’t take it really close, because what I’ve seen next!! Impressed me,  super-new –European carriages which I didnt expect to see. Then I’ve visited Russian shop, that had Ukrainian salo , but didn’t have Ukrainian sweets and ice-cream.  ALSO, I tried Bulgarian tram, wohhoo! Then there was a strange guy-actor-chaplin, who wanted to take a pic with me. And the best part of Sofia, was a completely brilliant present from my sis – frame with photos of us ^_^  and sweet. Cute, honest, nice words on its back. Now this present is on my desk in dorms : )   Sofia was great, but I’ve had a bus at 5 pm.

On a way to Blago there was huge thunderstorm! So, surely after I arrived to Avtogara, I decided to take a taxi, and to go right to Dorms. Well nothing really changed completely, but I have ants in my room. Just imagine, nice morning, coffee,  and there are crowds of ants in your bread,  good. But, hopefully, they fixed it, because I wrote in a book of damages about this problem, and actually there are still ants in my room but not so much…( they still hope that I’ll leave bread for them in  a shelf) .

Let’s move on, this year I live in a Resident Assistant room…woohhoo! On the 2nd floor. My neighbors are from Russia and Moldova…so actually we have a Russian-speaking community in my room. :D  Unsleeping, insomnia, homework, starving are almost my everyday “friends”.  And yes, I might be on BgTV, because at time when I was signing the papers, the television began to shoot us. Awwww.  The first day was okay.

Visa-Jumping in the Embassy

This week was, perhaps, the most nervous I’ve ever had.  Right after I came from camp GLOW, I applied for a Bulgarian “D” visa, which is a really long and terrible process.   I’ve booked train tickets on 22nd of August, and had to arrive on 24th. ( right on Independency Day of Ukraine). For a week I was calling to Embassy with a hope that I got my visa, but every time  I got the answer that my visa is on agreement process. The worst words to hear really. Sooo, time flies, time comes,  a date of departure is closer and closer and I still don’t have visa.

21th no visa. I asked them if there were a possibility of receiving it on next day, but as they explained; I could get it only if Bulgaria accepts my application between 9-10am, then maybe I can get it. But well I was ready to sleep over at the Embassy, begging for visa, because acc I’ve had 2 options either I return my train tickets and maybe come late, ( and just not really cool when everything messed up and you need to start everything from the beginning) or I come in the morning ( because I had to take translated docs )and my parents will bring me my luggage, that ive packed, again having no idea what to expect.   This awkward feeling, you know, when you are packing clothes, having no idea of what will be the next day, of this visa, of nothing at all!

Well, it’s better to call everything as “ A long hard road out of hell”. Earlier, before applying I just joked that “I’ll receive my visa just on a day of my departure” And actually, I don’t know what happened, but it was a Miracle, a real Miracle!!! At 11 am I was already at the Embassy, I waited for a long, again I met an awesome Bulgarian guardian : ) , waited, and I was informed that I’ve already got my visa. I was too shocked, I jumped and screamed just right there in a centre of the Embassy made other laughing. I couldn’t believe, I thanked to everyone there, hysteria!

Then I called to parents, and yes I go…I go to Bulgaria.

Heeey heeeyyy G.L.O.W. !

General super-impressions and information

July has gone far far far away,  so here is my report. As you might know this month was really amazing: full of useful information, experience, Americans, friends and just fun! So,  in 5 days after a  festival I've attended a really awesome and inspirational camp G.L.O.W. ( Girls Leading Our World) that's organized by Peace Corps Volunteers from the US, and almost free for campers, because lots of  good people donate their money into this project. The main idea of this camp is  to show us the main world's problems and to teach us tolerance, leadership and teamwork as well. We talked about gender discrimination, human trafficking which statistic is really impressive!!! ( 1% of women escape from slavery! just imagine that!!!), domestic violence ( the main rule of its is do not , do not, do not stay with a person who forces you to do smth. against your will, do not stay with this person!), HIV\AIDS and many many more interesting and useful topics.  We've had guest speakers everyday who talked to us, we've had like 3-4 lessons each day, with small breaks ( when we've had snacks wooohhooo!!! :33 mostly it was coffee with some cookie or biscuit and ice-cream ).

It was an English camp! It was  a really fun camp! It was an amazing camp!
Only what i can say now are:

  • WOW, I want to share these topics and ideas with others
  • AWESOME now i will and i'm able to help people.
  • YES i'm strong enough and i'll achieve everything
  • STOP  discrimination, putting tags on people, gender violence.

  • And randomly we have WAYS, and really! WAYS of help, of work, of living, of our decisions!
Everything depends on us and on the WAYS of our decision or behavior in one or other situation.

Talking about ways of escape there are two emergency numbers ( for Ukrainians) that are free, you just call there in a case of slavery, or if you need any help. These numbers are FREE!

386- is a number where you can get an advice if you have some troubles in your family, or with your friends, or you need an advice of  a professional lawyer , or psychological help.

527-   is an International Organization for Migration in Ukraine, you should call there if  you decided to go abroad, or some " work-company" offered you a job and you want to work there. Calling to this number you can check that your work-place-company really exist! And that everything is official, they'll give emergency numbers of Embassy in a country where you go etc.

Just PLEASE do not be lazy to check any place where you go!!! Calling to one of these numbers you'll spend about 10 minutes, but  then maybe you'll save your life!

Despite lessons, we also have had lots lots of fun! And yes we've had a campfire! with smores!! It was sooo awesome cuz. it was with American marshmallows! In the morning we could attend different morning activities like parkour!, aerobic, pilates, dances, yoga ahhh lots of ! Also there were different team-building activities, and my favorite big-roll hug :), and yeees water-balloons fighting, photo hunting contest....aww lots of fun.

    G.L.O.W. is my 2nd FAMILY!

The best part  of a camp were energizers! Cuz. yyees we were exhausted especially on the morning meetings, AND do not let us sleeping, guess what? aha, we've had super energizers...Crazy  stuff really!
My favorite was 60's party from a 60's movie ....chaotic, fun thing!

Also I liked the activity when we've made ribbons for HIV-kids, it was really my dream to help at least a little bit them!

    Acivities time!

    Leadership lesson!
    Energizer time!
    And a Family time!

I'm really impressed of camp and so happy that i've had an opportunity to go there!
As I know this camp  should be next year too!  And any of you can attend it!
When there'll be an information of when, how, where, applications. Be sure,  i'll let you know!

And now you can attend camp-groups in VK and FB where all information will be too and where you can ask questions if you have them!
    http://vk.com/club45798489
    https://www.facebook.com/groups/364164293679015/

If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask me!

And to sum up all my awesome impressions, here is a video, which was created by our awesome volunteers,  of our camp G.L.O.W. ( or just how i've spent these fantastic 5 days)

    Enjoy

I love love love love every detail of camp!  It was just CAMPAMAZING! :)

P.S. and yes i've already applied for Bulgarian "D" visa and went to a Bulgarian Embassy, so they promised that i'll receive my visa on time! almost 2 weeks till the new life! Excited!

    June,yay

Okay, this June was quite ...difficult, aha :3
So, after prom, i've passed and have written huge 3 tests in Ukraine...Well, acc seniors pass these tests to apply for Universities in Ukraine, but i've passed them just in any case..Cuz. noone knows what will be next tho...
To begin with, that's tests are ridiculous, i mean my results :DD

Cuz. i have 192 out of  200 on English test, 13 out of 14 on essay , yay... And my results on English are much Higher than Ukrainian... Hillarious English is better than Ukrainian, uhm -__-

The rest of days i was preparing for the 3rd exam on Ukrainian history...aaaa... I was learnin' to this subject for 2 weeks, for 14 day and nights ...I didn't sleep AT ALL, i swear that i've learnt  history, it was difficult, to learn everything without tutors etc...But i like my results acc..2 weeks, the material from 7-11 form, from 1 mln years b.c. till nowadays, pretty good huh ?
So, no tutors, no courses, and  i have 177.5 on history out of 200.
BUT nothing is impossible, i did it, and im happy with what i have in the end :33

Aftter all tests, i;ve finished with preparing the rest of documents for the AUBG. As usually, i've had some problems on my way ( Something Always goes wrong whenim donig smth. important, like applying for a visa or gathering documents) ...So, this time, i needed to translate 3 docs into Bulgarian, here in Ukraine, uhm...Aha, after 2 days i got translated docs, AND i've noticed a mistake in Bulgarian :DD, yes AT the first time they've written my surname in English wrongly, so i had to return them...after couple of mins everything was okay...
Later, yes Bye Bye, See you, 200 metres...Oh .....gosh.. Another mistake xDD No, its ridiculous :DD
This time they've typed the same subject twice ..awww...
So, ive returned again and yayy...they've solved this problem too...
    Ugh...

And yes, another good news , that I've FINALLY got my Adult International Passport :33 Difficult long process, but i have it ...Cuz. yes im 17 y.o. but i had to receive an adult passport ( yes more papers etc)but its possible... What's also amazing..that i LOVE my photo in my international passport even more than in Ukrainian :33 Its really good.

So, at the end of June i have gathered all documents and i've sent them to blagoevgrad :3 But i need to wait for about 2 weeks but i trully HOPE that it'll tak less time, to receive some paper from the Bulgarian minnistry of Education, cuz. without it i won't have an opportunity to apply for a visa.

Right now, my docs are on their way to BG..And im waiting to get the rest of docs from the AUBG..So i could start on visa process. So, im free finally, i can relax for couples days after super-learning history...relaaax
And im bored ! Have nothing to do :\\ But soon i will..Acc, i've skyped with my  greek friend..Pos se lene!
( what's ur name ) Adikadoptrismos ( the best word ever ...reflection) sounds better than Ja su ti kanis (hey, how are you ) xDD That's what greek said :DD
Also, ive talked to my mustache-London friend dude, and HOPE that i'll chat with my Bulgaria left-handed sister and with my russkaya kasha-zontik soon :33

Also, im looking forwars TO SEE HURTS HURTS YES HURTS!!!!
SO, THEY ARE COMING TO UKRAINE IN JULY YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
SURE I WILL GO  in Dnipropetrovsk, whatever I HAVE TO see them before im going away.
I've already booked the ticket for the concert, so hope to receive it this week...But what to put on? O_O
    Uhm... anyway ...

Also in July im going to the 5 days camp in Cherkassy region...YES this is an American camp, organized by my favorite Peace Corps Volunteers here, it's not expensive and almost free... I forgot if i told about it, but okay, to go to this camp i had to fill the applying form with questions like ( why do you want to this camp, what skill do you have or smth. about leadrship) ..So, im sure there were a lot of willers from whole Ukraine .But i was accepted. Hahah, have filled the form for 1 day before the deadline, Yes it's me :3

So, more info about my trip to HURTS *_* and camp ( cuz i'll have like 5 days of rest between concert trip and camp) will be later

And just a year ago, my super camp experience had just started *_* I miss campers still :\
Hope this year will be also amazing, rock this camp campers !
Mentally i'm with you! Cheer up, dudes !

Wish everybody a good July, and hope everyone will be study where they dream to...
    Nothing is impossible.
    Peace.

    Prom

It's really difficult to find all words, to express myself, to calm down...cuz. that's all...
Im like in depression all day today... but anyway, it's just difficult...to leave school
So, now im officially finished school, i'm nit a pupil anymore...
    And how was my prom....

Early in the morning we had to go to school to sign some papers, so school could gave us our diploma.
Going to school i've met my teacher, so we had some talk, and i was telling that ...omg no school, i'll be 30 soon  :DD But it was quite cute you know," where r u going pretty?", -"um, to school, to sign, the paper :D"

Then like after 3,5 hours my hair-do was made. I've even had a real rose in my hair :33
    SOOO Prom
I was alone in a yellow bright  dress :DD mostly there were pink  dresses...
Firsly, we've had an official part, when we were receiving our diploma, and we were giving a concert.

So, the principal congratulated us....it was really honest ! And form by form, one by one, we got the diploma... i was smiling every moment being on stage  :DD
omg my turn....my name was said ....okay....so...yes...i got my high school diploma!!! ( the principal said "Diana, u look like a greek goddess" ) ^.^

I shaked her hand, was ready to turn back, as vice principal (teacher of Chemistry:3)said in microphone " And also Diana is awarded Diploma for Outstanding Achievements in learning Art and Culture" ) I was like WHAT O_O Which diploma? ? OMG Art and Culture :33 omg i didn't expect to get smth like this AT ALL... .AWWW love my Arts teacher <3
    The cutest moment ever

Then seniors have prepared concert...I've performed twice, ( acc me as others had some words that we've said......mine words were special, cuz. i really liked them , and was telling from my heart )

And our class, have sung a song, that our classmate has written on her own, it was dedicated to our Class Teacher....it was so honest, and cute... " We are thankful to you, we understand that it was not soo easy, Thank you, thank you, we're thankful to you" . Even our teacher of ukrainian has cried...how cute it was..:) Because we really love our class teacher, and we're thankful to her.

After an official part, we've celebrated our prom in a cafe........Food...DISCO 0_0 omg it's deserved to study 11 years, but UNBELIEVABLE
We were dancing with our teachers ....mostly....with...teacher of History...YES HISTORY...omg ...she was amazing in it...really good....omg....Every 5 mins i was tired...!! But SHE was more active than me O__O No, i swear, i was too tired....so i couldn't dancing, but she still has had soo much energy....Where she gets from all energy ?? O__O Awesome

After a while  we were dancing with other teachers too ll together...principal, ukrainian and history teachers, nd chemistry teacher ( i was dancing near her :33...so she asked where is the rest of my dress cuz. it was short (so, it was double, long and short -for disco))

    Can u just imagine that? :D DANCING!!! But i've even pine-applethough :,D
Then in some skit in cafe, i was playin' a tree :DD And i dragged a paper ...what my fate is saying....and  it was RING on the image :DD ring !!

Acc we've had lots of fun there :DD  Dancing until 4.30 am !! :D
At 5 am we've gone to the local some kind of park...and we've let free to our balloons makinga wish :,)
Ah....5 am we were pretty tired tho :333
    But still yaaaay

    Bye bye school,
Hello new part of life ,

It's unusual...but i've finished school! Im not pupil anymore...my heart and smile will be in school forever

    But i'll come back.....

    School is out forever :,(

Yes, this day has come....the day when i should say goodbye to my school, to the happiness that my teachers gave me, to the copybooks and tests, and speeches on history.
It's too difficult to me to forget all my favorite teachers, and u know...this situation and these emotions are the same when i've left camp...strong emotions, and tears on nights...
    So, how was it....

We are the luckiest ever....because it was raining all night before, and in the middle of lineyka- (that's when all pupils are standing form by form making a square). It was an awesome moment when suddenly it began to rain ( bur acc as far as i remember it wasn't raining for 5-6 yrs on the last bell, so we're kind of special in this sense). So , i bet everyone will remember our last bell :DD

Next, FIRST TIME in our school, we've let go to pigeons...And i bet it was unforgettably too.
Also, in Ukraine we have a tradition when all alumni wear "soviet union" school uniforms ( really, in soviet union everyone was wearing to these unifroms!!). My pigeon was eager to fly, but i've tried to calm it ...

Well, then we let go to our balloons, mine has luckily flew away ^^ Acc i've also had yellow balloon and yellow flowers :,D
Then, awww, we've presented flowers to our teacher, and we've given them an invitation to our prom..Of course i was giving an invitation to my Art teacher :33 Anndd....i've completely forgotten to give her a copybook as a gift ( cuz. gifts were on the other side, plus i was panicking, crying etc.)....
But at the end i've come to her and i've almost cried saying sorry cuz. i've just forgotten, omg i was almost crying...then Art teacher hugged me, and didn't let me go..OMG she's so kind and cute....ahah she was joking cuz. i was like - kill me please; - of course i'll do....)) ^^ she's so cute....love her.

ALSO we've exchanged gifts with kids from 1st form...Well it was awkward too...everyone was running, and i couldn't find a kid to give my present to...I was like....AAAA...was standing in the middle of square disappointed, as suddenly i've seen one small boy, who  also was standing in the middle disapointed...Nobody around...AWWW THE CUTEST MOMENT EVER
Anyway i'm happy that i've found  kid to give my present to ^^

This day was full of tears, but i promised to come back on winter from Bulgaria and visit my teachers...I'll do it...I PROMISE....
So, also my dreams came true....because i've taken photos with my teacher of chemistry....chemiiistryyy ^^

I've dreamt to hear them for a long time...and this day i was honestly talking with my teacher and i've told them how i was happy to see them in school, how they've made me smile all the time...
ALL my teachers hugged me with a such huge sincere...with smile on their faces...I won't forget them at all, i can't do that.

Anyway my chemistry teacher promised to skype with me, she promised!!! :D
What's strange,  it seems that earlier teacher were not soo close to alumni...idk...but ths day they were REALLY crying!!! they were crying that we leave school...omg...

I really admire all me favorite and sincere teachers...I will say that i've heard a lot of warm words from  them..and i'm happy that i've had such sincere talks with them!
By the way, i was wearing bow that i've worn in 1st grade!!!

Well second part was when we've spent like 2 hours in our local attraction park....where i've tried mini American slights....I WON'T GO THERE AGAIN... It was sooo scary-strange, so fast ...omg ...my first words when i've sit on slight were "I love chemistry" :DD

And the last part,  we've spent the rest of day at some kind of camp, with lake and grass ...We've had lots of fun there different teeterboards and FOOD....We also were sailing the boat...and acc were having fun there...
And yeah...we've had the most epic end of everything, when the driver of our bus began to fight with smn's parent...Everything was okay....But...Well...Okay )

    April

The hardest and perhaps the most flourished month has finished. Well, nothing super-fantastic hasn't happened. I'm full of studying, last school year though :,D I dunno if mentioned it, so i've done a project for some competition about extincted animals etc. I was full with this projecr, cuz. i was eager to do it as best as it possible. And i hope, i did. :,3 Hah, i was so nervous showing it to my teachers, but they like it very much, yyaay. My chemistry teacher even pointed out that, i have an eye on projects, cuz. i can choose the proper music for video, catch attention, make it creative and interesting. I was so pleased to haer that from them, so i've even received two highest marks on chemistry :,333 omg, chemistry, yyaay.

I'm really impressed of my marks, because they are brilliant *.* That's a pity that i don't apply in ukrainian university, so acctually my marks don't play such a big role, but well...

I was preparing, and still preparing reports on history...I suppose, it's endless. :,D But i like to make them, but it's exhausting sometime. Also, my history teacher pointed out that i can catch an attention of the audience, so she asked if i have thought about applying on journalistic faculty. POINT. :,D I do....apply there.

School is almost finished, there are 6 off days, because of some um national holidays. Just imagine spent hald of your life in school *.* woof 11 years. My letter from England is still flying somewhere *.* have no idea when i will finally or not receive it.

Ahhah...what's interesting that signs are following me xDD
Well, everything has happened in one day, i bought in school cornflakes, as it turned out they were made by an American Recipe ( America)
Next....spontaneously i went to the some office ...paper on door stating (permanent residence in Bulgaria)
    ( Bulgaria)
My mom bought chiffon for my dress,...inscription on cloth stating smth. like royal London whatever
    ( London)
    Ummm...

Nothing special has happened on April...okay...here are some photos..just like that ...i'll name it Ukrainian Spring, whatever.

I was too shocked and perhaps till 2 day befor olympiad couldn't realized what had happened.... It was impossible!...Well, the results aren't soo cool...cuz. not my day...writing section 'i've written awesome with quotes, proverbs ...good but ...i've understood topic differently a little bit soo..in conclusion i got 0 points..that declined my chances to win smth...okay...it's not the end

    Baseball

How I've spent these 2 days at home :)

After camp, I couldn't find any place here. I wanted back. I missed Americans, I just need their communication. I love listen to  them, cuz. it's like paradise for my ears. So, when I came back I didn't know what to do, I was sitting at home all time, and it made me crazy. I need communication, I need people, I need emotions cuz. I'm very emotional and positive but if i haven't anybody to share my happiness with I become upset. For 4 days I didn't know what to do, I wanted to speak in English!!! And after some research  I did it!

I found some information, that here in my town there are some volunteers from America. I haven't thought about anything, I've just said to myself GO! They made some lessons here to improve language skills, but unfortunately ( or fortunately cuz. nothing happened just like that) I haven't any time to check in these courses. All right next day I decided to call my friend cuz. she also likes Americans ( and she speaks English, and we haven't seen for a long time) and we went there together.

We met on the field it was nearby school, and we waited for others. ( And again this Am. habit I've sat on the grass, with sunglasses on my eyes and waited for others mmm...grass). Even American asked us is it really strange if smn. sit on grass here in Ukraine, of course! But I do it, whatever I like it :) We've talked a little bit and then the rest of Americans came.

" Who is from America" - yeaah my first question. Aaaaaaand then I so needed it. I was so happy. I talked to them FINALLY!!! And you know what, all of them are  from California!!!  I've asked from wich part of CA they are and some of them are from center and some are  from south ( if i remember rightly).

Okay, we talked for a long time. I've got acquainted with them ( I'm not really shy anymore. If I see American I go to him/her and greeted. It's not bad, it's good!) . So, we shared some ideas about volunteering because, I'm more and more interested in this kind of living.

Then we started to play baseball!!! REAL baseball they made a field for baseball with bases and everything, oh God.  Thanks to Nichole ( from AUBG) I tried to play baseball and I know ( a liiiittttttllle bit) about it. Because in AUBG I tried to catch the ball with this glove. ( I was impressed of this glove It was smth. strange for me but whatever I liked it). So, this time gloves and balls weren't smth. under my imagination. We made teams and started to play, actually it was a training because most of us, haven't played it. Even Americans they played it only, when they were children. But I think it's in their blood to play baseball!

I tried ( first time ) to hit the ball with baseball-bat. Of course these tries weren't really good. I've skipped all balls. Then I was stood in some part of field and if I needed to I cathed balls. I almost understood rules and idea of this game. Then I again hit the ball aaaannnd I DID i. I threw baseball-bat and run to the 1 base.
" Good job" . I love it :D  Unfortunately my team lost, but we had really good players.

Next day. At the same time we met at the same place.  This time I knew all Americans and their names, so it was even easier to speak with them. ALL Americans ALL time are Happy and Positive. Isn't it cool? It makes them warmer and more open for others, I dunno I love this mentality. You just go and greet and they started to smile to you, they asked how are you today..awwwwww

Okay, so in the begin we trained  with each others how to catch the ball and so on. And I recognised, I'm left-handed so I tried to put on special glove on right hand. I tried and YES! That mine. I catched every ball, which my friend threw to me, unbelievable and then I threw ball with left hand to her and mine throws were better than previous day. AWESOME! Here is the main idea, I just needed another glove :)

So, we separated on teams and started to play. I hit balls!!! With a strong power. I haven't skipped it, I hit them. O.o I hit the ball, threw away baseball-bat  and run to the 1 base, then to the 2, to 3 rd and out not mine smns. but everytime when I was on the 3rd base, It was our 3rd out. Okay. What the most interesting is that we were playing and suddenly it started to rain. It was a heavy  rain. Whatever some of us ( including me) continued to play baseball. You know it reminds me, moment from Twilight  when they played baseball under the rain. So, we had the same it was really heavy rain we got wet, cold, dirty. But it's like an extreme you run you can fall down, you gonna be dirty hmmmm....

But in conclusion I really liked it. It was Baseball! REAL baseball!! I love it. I 'm feeling very strange when I stood on base and have baseball-bat in my hands, then I hit it and I run . It's like in a movie but It's reality. I'm so happy that I've spent 2 days with Americans playing baseball, I've continued my feelings, and I spoke English. I'm happy. And I love baseball!!!!!! I miss AUBG Americans....

I really feel like I'm an American :D

    Home sweet home

So, it was really quickly I haven’t even imagine it. It was an awesome summer, awesome emotions so many memories in my head. I want to continue these feelings But we have to come back to our family and to the reality. Sometimes it’s really hard especially when you love these people and they are smth. more than strangers, they became close friends to you. They shared happiness with you, and you answered them with the same emotions. But I don’t like pessimistic emotions, so let’s talk about smth. else.

First thing that surprised me when I returned back was ME All right here is the first situation which show that “Hey girl you are full of American habits”.

I was sitting in train and woman asked me “What time is it?” It was in Ukrainian, so after couple minutes of thinking how to answer in Ukrainian I said 11.55 ( at first I tried to remember how to say it rightly cuz it’s 11.55 am whatever). She wondered ” Oh, only 5 minutes till 12″.

Annnnd guess what, I’m like a robot answered YUP :DD “Oh, i wanted to say yes”. It was reaaallllyyyy creepy. You came back from AUBG baby =D No, really I even didn’t think about my answer I just said yup
      : DDD

Okay, then I was passing the road and one man accidentally pushed me, I’m in Ukraine, but suddenly He said in English ” Sorry” O.o I was shocked and I didn’t wait any minute I turned around and said ” Oh, you speak English ” . God, I just need smn. who speak English, especially after 3 weeks communicating in this language. He was shocked, I was shocked. So, we talked some minutes and say good bye to each other. It’s really strange that I’m so happy when I meet english speaker it’s like your relative . Ahh….I need to understand there is no creepy It just 3 weeks with Americans :D

Then I was walking in metropolitan and I missed these Americans smile and positive emotions, because here everybody are so pessimistic ( So, I’m like crazy ( actually I am crazy) started to smile and laugh to everyone : DD They were kinda shocked, but I was in American scarf, t-shirt, so probably they understood everything or not

At home, I just screamed I need SOUUUPPPP and SALO ( pig of fat, Ukrainian national food, VERY tasty) . I was sooo happy that i was eating NORMAL soup, JUST soup : DDD

I have another Am.habits ( I hope so), but probably i’ll tell about it in next post and i’ll make some list of Dreams which came true in this camp : D

See you, I hope smb. is reading it.

With this song I associated this camp, and all emotions I'll tell about songs and every moment which are reminding me about camp later, so here the song number one.
A small story about it First time I went through shop and it started to play Hurts-Wonderful Life ( my favorite band, I haven't heard it somewhere on street (i posted this video some posts ago) ), all right next day I was walking through the same shop and it started to play Alphaville – Forever Young ( at first on this song my parents danced on their wedding, at second with this song I associate this camp and I'm starting to remember some moments here and everything. It's really beautiful song))
